What is PRP treatment?
PRP stands for ‘’Platelet Rich Plasma’’. It is a new method of therapy. Altough in the beginning it was used for cosmetics and anti-aging, lately it is being used in muscle and skeleton system illnesses. In this method the medication is made from the patient’s own blood so it is natural.

After the centrifuge, the cells in the blood except thrombocyte fall down at the bottom of the tube so there is a high amount of thrombocyte at the top of the tube. The plazma that contains the thrombocyte is sucked into a injector. Lastly before the injection, a medication that will activate the thrombocyte (calcium chloride) is added. Now PRP is ready and should be injected to the designated area without any delays with the proper teqnique.
