How Is Acupuncture Treatment Done?

The points to which acupuncture treatment will be applied are determined during the examination. Afterwards, the places where the needles will be applied are determined. Treatment is generally performed in the supine position. In the Antalya acupuncture treatment process, the patient's painful acupuncture points (multiple acupuncture points that affect various parts and organs in the body, according to acupuncture treatment) are determined and applications are made by inserting needles into the disease-related areas in a planned manner. The needles used during the treatment must be disposable and sterile materials. After the needles are inserted into the determined points, the patient may first feel a very short and mild pain. After a certain time, a slight temperature begins to occur in the places where the needles are inserted. A slight pain may be felt when the patient enters the needle, but this is short- lived and there is no pain during the application.

The needles stay in the inserted points for about 20-40 minutes. In order to achieve the desired healthy effects, the needles can be heated with an additional method.
